The UN reports that countless civilians are displaced, facing dire conditions that require urgent attention. Our focus is on ensuring neutral humanitarian access, safeguarding civilians under international humanitarian law, and providing essential services like water and energy. We call for robust funding and policy measures to support the resettlement and integration of displaced families, aligning our efforts with global frameworks for refugees. We urge Congress to review relevant pending federal legislation that addresses these critical needs, including potential bills that may enhance humanitarian aid and support for Ukraine's displaced populations.
